This new group ergonomics approach clearly reflects a drastic departure from conventional push-to-talk desk base microphones, projecting into the future the aesthetical form, the functional design and the ease of operation. The retractable and swiveled microphone arm (B46) permits multiple adjustments of height and yet it can be totally retracted within the base when not in use. Unidirectional pick-up characteristics reduces unwanted ambient noise and acoustic feedback problems.

Push-to-talk, Desk Base Unidirectional Dynamic Microphone with integral pushto-talk switch and push-to-lock switch. The microphone is supplied with a 15-ft. shielded cable and is attached to the die-cast base by a female XLR Connector (the male XLR Connector is built-in the base of the Microphone). The cable consists of two conductors shielded for the balanced microphone input of a PASO Amplifier. Muting is provided by the VOX Circuit of the PASO Amplifier.
