2 Wire
System
Multiple Styles
2 Wire technology is available in the Petrarca
Style (6209+6009), Giotto (6309), and 6600 interphones and monitors.
Entry panel are available in either Galileo or Patavium style.
Simplified Wiring
All components of the system (interphones, monitors, entry panels, and
power supplies) are interconnected by a single twisted non-polarized
pair.
Flexible Installation
Stations can be wired in loop and/or star configuration.
Perfect for most Buildings
Up to 200 interphones and/or monitors. Up to 15 audio and/or audio-video
entry panels.
Access Control
Integral access control via code entry on the entry panels. Each
apartment can have its own access code. Extra codes in the system can be
dedicated for tradesman used with a time/day schedule.
Intercommunication
Intercommunicating calls can be made between resident stations.
Doorbells
A local door bell tone generator is incorporated in the resident
station. The doorbell switch is wired directly to the resident station,
no separate doorbell riser wire is required. Different ring tones are
provided for entry panel calls, door bell calls and intercom calls.
Call Volume Control
The call tone volume can be adjusted with a 4 position switch (Hi,
Medium, Lo, Off). A red LED illuminates to indicate that the monitor has
been set in the “off” position. If a call is attempted to a resident
station in the “off” position, the visitor receives a “Do Not Disturb”
message on the entry panel. The LED flashes to indicate how many call
attempts were made while in the “off” position. This feature is standard
on Giotto and 6600 monitors, optional on Petrarca series stations.
Door Status Indicator
A green door/gate Status LED provides a positive indication of the
status of the entry door as a visitor enters the building. (Requires a
door switch in the entry door wired to the entry panel). This feature is
standard on Giotto and 6600 monitors, optional on Petrarca.
Remote Control
Programmable relays can be added anywhere in the system connected to the
twisted pair to allow for control of up to 16 auxiliary functions from
apartment stations or entry panels.
Conventional Panels or Keypad Panels
Audio and audio-video entry panels are available with conventional
push-buttons per apartment or with keypads. Keypad models include an
alphanumeric display and electronic directory that supports 2 names per
station.
Dedicated Entry Panels
Each resident station or group of stations can be connected to a
dedicated audio or video entry panel, with up to a maximum of 15 entry
panels per installation.
Station Grouping
Groups of monitors (e.g. multiple monitors in a single apartment) can be
operated in 2 modes. In the 1st mode only the main monitor in each group
turns on and displays the image of the visitor. All other monitor will
ring. Any monitor that the resident answers from will automatically turn
on when picked up. In this mode, no local power supplies are needed
since only the monitor in use will be turned on. In the 2nd mode, all
the monitors turn on simultaneously. In this option, auxiliary power
supplies are required for each monitor after the first 2.
Station Programming
Each Resident Station can be programmed to activate the door release and
up to 2 auxiliary functions at each entry panel.
System Programming
Basic programming can be accomplished without special equipment using
the entry panel keypad and the interphone and monitor push-buttons.
Sophisticated Tools
Advanced and user friendly programming can be done using a handheld
programmer unit or PC with serial interface.
Self Activation
Entry panels can be turned on from the resident station.
Camera Scrolling
The resident station can scroll through the cameras in the system. Each
resident station can have a specially tailored list and sequence of
cameras.
